Make no mistake, I really admire Christophe Decarnin's magic in giving the Balmain house a new lease of life, but I really think it's time he rocked some new ideas. I loved the rock 'n' roll aesthetic when he first showcased it a few collections ago, but now I'm yearning for something new.

  

These are not all from the same collection, but you could easily think they were.

Bottega Veneta has always been one of my most anticipated shows during Milan fashion week. The style of the clothes are always so elegant and refined, especially in contrast to the other often more 'sexy' looks from the other Italian fashion houses. Always a beautiful collection.
